I am a unique combination of small town and big city.  I am 50% Australian and 50% southeastern Ohio.  My mom was from Sydney Australia and my dad was from Moxahala Ohio. 

I grew up in Moxie (if you are from Moxahala you call it Moxie) and moved to Columbus after college.  I am as comfortable in a small town as I am in a large city.  I appreciate what both have to offer.

I graduated from Bowling Green State University and Ohio University.  I spent 30 years in education as a teacher and a counselor.  I loved education and also I love renovating houses and have done several.  Seeing the potential in something or someone and helping to make that happen is very rewarding. 

I opened a café in 2003 and operated it for ten years and it is still in operation in 2022 under different ownership.  I also opened a three suite inn on Nelsonville’s Public Square in 2015 called The Little B.  My goal is to provide guests with a special place to stay.

Not only do I enjoy houses and hospitality I also have a love of horses.  My husband and I raised quarter horses for many years.  I still own several and enjoy a trail ride now and then.

I received my real estate license in 2007 and have been active since then.  Helping people realize their dream of buying or selling a house is one of the most rewarding things I have done over the course of my professional career. 

I make Nelsonville my home and have lived there for over 40 years.  I appreciate being surrounded by the Wayne National Forrest and realize how fortunate I am. 

I am a mother, a grandmother, a sister an aunt and a friend.  I am a lucky woman. I am past president of the board of Stuart’s Opera House having served on the board for many years.  I have been a part of the Nelsonville Music Festival since the inception.

In this world there are show ponies and there are work horses.  I am a work horse.  There are queen bees and there are worker bees.  I am a worker bee.  I enjoy hard work and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty! 

I may be from Moxie, but I’ve also GOT Moxie!
